Wissam Murad is a brilliant young singer from Jerusalem, with the instrumental chops of a seasoned jazz performer. His voice has the breaks of wisdom and the honeyed emotion that only a true master can convey. This album is Murad's tribute to the Egyptian poet Bayram Al-Tunisi, lyrically and easily floating from track to track with the simplicity of Umm Kalthoum, and the funky jazz rhythms of John Scofield or Medeski, Martin and Wood.

His new record was produced in 2006 by Sabreen studios in Jerusalem, and has been released to great acclaim in the middle east.
